Why the Church (and our church) is important for the city of Auburn.

Auburn truly is the "loveliest village on the plains." We meet people every week who are new to Auburn, from other U.S. cities and from other nations.

The mission of the Church is to glorify God by making disciples of every nation; The message of life in Jesus Christ is for all people groups in all the earth.

Simply put -- we are here to take the finished work of Jesus to the world. We do this by committing to the mission of THE Church as we commit to one another as a local church with a global perspective.

The Church (and our church) is important to Auburn because we are people of hope, who can speak of God's goodness, demonstrate grace, and point people to life found only in Jesus.

As Jesus followers, we are to be among those who are leading the way in serving this great community with excellence and passion or as Jesus described it, like salt and light.

While there are no perfect churches anywhere on earth, our goal is to be a community that loves God and people well.

Our vision for Auburn is love the people who live here and to encourage all people to know and love Jesus.

We are making disciples that will carry the name of Jesus wherever they go.
